Dr. Connie Numbers, Psy.D, LCSW
Author • Spiritual Teacher • Psychotherapist
In addition to psychotherapy, I provide a range of services that will support and guide you as you move through life’s transitions. I am available as a personal mentor and coach with both short and long term programs, workshops and retreats focusing on personal and spiritual growth, speaking for women’s groups and leading groups for those who wish to understand themselves on a deeper level.
I help people find the answers they are looking for so they can better understand their own individual uniqueness as a soul, as well as to heal and honor their humanness. Our sessions would not only rely on what is going on with you as a human personality but would also include the totality of you in mind, body, and Spirit.
It’s my greatest passion to help you connect with your soul through Joyful Inner Work and find true happiness, love and prosperity in every facet of your life.
A Short Bio
My professional career began after receiving my undergraduate and Masters Degree in Music. Following a successful career as a professional performing musician for 20 years, I elected to pursue my interests in psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality. I obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work with concentrations in psychotherapy and counseling and soon after obtained my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D). I am a member of the faculty and the National Board of Advisors at the Sophia Institute in Charleston, SC.
Currently, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina and New York State. I specialize in working with adults and pride myself in offering a comfortable, discreet, respectful, non-judgmental, and safe environment for my clients.
